Job description

FAT Karting League is disrupting grassroots motorsport, delivering high-quality racing events across the UK and internationally. With our expanding operations and strategic projects, we're looking for a driven graduate to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our racing series and operations.


We are offering a 6 month internship (fixed term contract) and are looking for someone hungry to learn, driven to grow, and excited to take ownership from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination & Administration

    • Maintain and update project timelines, documentation, and task lists.

    • Manage and track actions captured during key governance and project meetings.

    • Assist in supplier coordination for hub rollouts and strategic initiatives.

    • Independently manage subsections of larger projects under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager.

    • Support operational project delivery, such as event improvements and infrastructure upgrades.

  • Stakeholder & Meeting Management

    • Hold internal and external stakeholders accountable for their deliverables aligned with project milestones.

    • Assist in preparing agendas and following up on actions and decisions from internal project meetings.

  • Reporting & Insights

    • Build and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs and project health.

    • Prepare and distribute reports to senior management, providing insights into progress and risks.

  • Operational Support

    • Provide administrative support for the wider FKL operations team.

    • Assist in the planning and administration of high-profile events such as the World Final.

    • Support with various operational tasks across race weekends and special events.

Job requirements

Who you are

  • A recent graduate from a top-class university with a degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Willing to throw yourself in at the deep end and learn whilst you work.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Possess excellent communication skills.

  • Proactive and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willing to work at the office at least two days a week.

  • Comfortable with occasional weekend work and international travel.

  • Bonus: experience using the Microsoft Office suite including Excel and MS Planner.
